A community power-building project that rejects punishment bureaucracy and advocates for the creation of transformative systems that advance economic opportunity.
J2J believes in participatory justice. We catalyze Sacramento region’s criminal legal, economic, policy and abolition community. We use criminal records repair and other restorative practices to center the voices of those with lived experience. We look at justice systemically—excavate and report facts, interrogate processes, and create solutions for healthy, equitable, and inclusive neighborhoods.
J2J is a rising coalition of community experts, professional analysts, and legal minds reimagining racial and economic justice
